1. Combine 2 cups flour, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/2 tsp baking soda in a small bowl.
2. In a large bowl, beat together 1 cup sugar and 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter.
3. Mix in 1/2 cup plain yogurt, 1 package vanilla pudding mix, and 1 egg.
4a. For green cookies: Add 1 tsp peppermint extract, 3 drops blue food coloring, and 15 drops green food coloring.
4b. For orange cookies: Instead, add 1 tsp orange extract, 3 drops red food coloring, and 15 drops yellow food coloring.
5. Add 1 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
6. Bake at 375F, checking first at 7 minutes. You want them to be just slightly brown on the bottom.
